The former president's Family Member Receives Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Before Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for major competition

This young athlete boasts impressive online audience

Kai Trump will have numerous prominent supporters when she makes her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a special exemption to play at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, possesses several golf courses and regularly matches against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we play competitive games," she stated.

She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, advised her: "Just stay calm."

"He practically suggested to play and relax," she added.

"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He can't make it for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, making him quite busy."

Being non-professional, Kai has played in a mere three competitions this year and holds the 461st position in AJGA listings.

Yet she's able to seek guidance from golf legend, in a relationship with Kai's mother.

"He represents the top athlete worldwide," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He told me to compete, have fun, adapting to the flow."

Kai will face multiple most prominent players in the sport at the Annika, featuring world number two the champion, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that involving Kai exposes the sport to new audiences, especially with younger fans.

Kai has substantial online presence and has started her own clothing and lifestyle brand.

She begins at late afternoon GMT.
