Two men have been charged following a suitcase robbery where a suspected pepper spray resulted in harm at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two robbery charges and two counts of administering a noxious substance, authorities have stated.

These accusations come after an probe of an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Earlier that day, two women were robbed of their suitcases stolen after exiting a parking garage elevator, authorities reported.

A toddler was caught up in the incident during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to a medical facility and were eventually allowed to go home.

This event – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not being treated as terrorism – caused disruptions to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
